Mastercard Bank of the Year is the most prestigious Czech award for retail financial products with a twenty-year tradition. Its aim is to recognize innovative and high-quality services and products of banks and insurance companies operating in the Czech Republic.
This year's Mastercard Bank of the Year competition was exceptional for the Czech fintech and insurtech community. The competition established cooperation with the Czech Insurtech Association and announced two new categories as part of it: Fintech of the Year 2023 and Insurtech of the Year 2023.
"We couldn't miss the opportunity to showcase what Tuito can do, and we are very happy we impressed the expert jury with our solution. It is necessary to add that none of this would have been possible without feedback, new ideas and inspiration from our business partners and end customers," says Michal Urbánek, Co-founder of Tuito, about the award.
Twelve insurtech solutions competed in the category Insurtech of the Year 2023. These included products for buying insurance online, reporting claims or solutions helping quickly evaluate risk indicators and claims. The jury's evaluation was based on an assessment of benefits for users, fintech itself (or financial institution) and the overall positive impact on society.
